I am planning a trip to WDW and decided the first couple of weeks in November would be good. Less hot, Less crowds even though the art event is going to be there so idk for sure. The tip for us was less hot and this year. Plus the christmas decorations may be going up.
TRUST ME on this ... best times to go in general are the seasons of spring and fall. You don't want Florida's miserable summer weather mixed with horrendous crowds or very unpredictable winter weather -- 80 one day, freezing and 30 MPH winds the next.
My favorite months are May and October (although March and April and November are also generally good times). Crowds aren't light, but park hours are extended, and weather is generally great. In spring you have Flower and Garden Fest at Epcot, in fall you have Food and Wine Fest at Epcot, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the MK, and if you dare go off-property, the gory-fun of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal.
