January is the least busy, but October is lots of fun and not too hot.
It really depends on waht you want to do, the slow times risk ride closures while the busy times have long lines.
For me the best month to go is any month that ends in "Y" or has an "R" or a vowel.

How sucky is the weather the end of September? If we go then, we can get the meal plan included (definitely a bonus).
TJL, thanks for narrowing it down!![]()
I love October for the Food & Wine Festival (Party for the Senses rocks my world!) and MNSSHP.
I enjoy early December for MVMCP, CP, and all other holiday related festivities.
My DH and I normally alternate between the two, although lately we've started including a trip during the Flower and Garden Festival.
My only advice is to avoid the heat of the summer and the crowds of school breaks....if you can.

Just remember without a well written Disney Villain, there would be no point in the Heroes and the Princesses. Have you hugged a Disney Villain today?
I haven't been during this time...yet. I suspect I'll be there for my birthday one year.Originally Posted by twinmom
My only concerns with September is hurricane season is at its peak and it is hot. Crowds are farily low from what I understand, but then again I think the free dining last summer may have affected the crowds during this time of year. With crowds being low, how early do the parks close?

Janurary. It doesn't get cold in Florida...
I guess I should say, it doesn't get cold in Florida to a guy from Utah.

I did check out some weather website for the week in Sept and it said that it is usually hot and humid. Probably why they are offering the free meal plan that time of year!
Well, I just replied to you somewhere else. I don't even know where... but I'll repeat the part about it being extremely hot when we were there. But, just taking breaks at the hotel pool for the hottest part of the day did wonders to battle the heat. There were also no crowds, though, so we didn't stand in lines in that heat, which I imagine would make it a lot worse.

Thanks for the advice! I guess it will be up to my husband to see if he wants to save money and deal with the heat or not!
Either that or a lot of kids start school that time of the year and not a lot of individuals go on vacation around that time.Originally Posted by twinmom

- January - especially after the 5th or so.
- Early Feb. before President's Day weekend
- September is pretty decent, but still warm and rainy
