The decor and atmosphere is top notch. It was a little expensive... $110.00 for the two of us! I do recommend trying it out though but now I want to eat at the buffet across the way.
I really enjoyed Boma, but haven' been back to it just yet. I'm still working on trying every place on property.

Jiko has excellent service and our waiter was helpful and informative, it was really nice. I discovered for myself that South African wines are pretty darn tasty there!! LOL In the last few years, I've gone from a picky eater to a bit of a "foodie."

Just remember without a well written Disney Villain, there would be no point in the Heroes and the Princesses. Have you hugged a Disney Villain today?

Epcot - Cantina de San Angel
That's the name of the place! I had my birthday lunch there a couple year's ago and the CM that took my order noticed my birthday button and gave me a free churro! Oh yeah and my burrito was DELISH!

Im not exactly sure what kind of a place it will be but considering its gonna be in Asia Im gonna assume its Asian food. At least I hope so. I love me some asian food.

    ^^RFC=Rainforest Cafe

And even though I wouldn't put table service and counter serve in the same category, many McDonalds's have the word 'Restaurant' on their signs.

Some other thoughts. Jiko is amazing cuisine, although Boma is the best non-Las Vegas buffet I have ever been to (actually because of its unique foods, it's even better than many in Sin City).

And I am currently boycotting San Angel Inn in Mexico because a few years ago they decided to switch from incredible homemade chips and salsa to -- NO LIE -- bagged Tostitos and jar salsa like you can buy at WalMart. That's just so tacky and cheap beyond belief.

Re: What would you say the best restaurant is for each park?

You mean people eat IN the parks? And, like, sit down and are waited upon? Foreign concept to me, but I eat like 95% of America these days. Bring on the chain-brand gang! At least I avoid ODV carts.

And 74, it's easy to be better than most Vegas buffets, and I would bet all the WDW ones do it quite well. There's only two seriously great buffets in this town, and there'll only be one if the Planet Hollywood folks have screwed with the Aladdin's excellent buffet. I bet all that non-Mex/Asian ethnic food (like the middle east station) will go out the window.

Re: What would you say the best restaurant is for each park?

Thanks. The only places in Disney I've actually sat down and eaten at were the UK restaurant (who's name eludes me at the moment.) I thought the food was good, but we've got an Irish restaurant in Destin where I live that blows it out of the water. Next time I'll try maybe France or Mexico.

The other place we've taken time to eat is the little asian place inside the Land in Epcot. It's counter service but I was very very impressed with the quality of the food there.

Wow, so many different replys. In my opinion:

MK- Cinderella's Royal Table or Tony's Town Square
MGM- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater or The Brown Derby
EPCOT- San Angel Inn (Mexico) or Coral Reef
    AK- Rainforest Cafe
    Downtown- Portabello Yacht Club
    Grand Floridian- Narcoosee's
    Contemporary- California Grill

All worth trying at some point, you won't be disappointed.

Quickservice wise...I enjoy Pecos Bill's and Casey Jr's at Magic Kingdom and that mexican place at Epcot..whats it called?

The Best sit down reasturant at WDW has got to be Ohana's at the Pollynesian Resort. A true classic even with the recent menu change.

I'm going to have to try a Dole Whip next time. I've never had one before. I can't help but think of Disney every time i see a Turkey Leg though.
