I think it is that he is just enthusiastic about what he does. His projects get him, not his attention. I mean he said something like 3 months was his time in China/Tibet.

I thought it was excellent. I'm still upset because in January we were given an opportunity to ride Everest for a media event but my wife said no since we'd just gotten to the park on our first day and she didn't want to give them the two hours they required.

Oh dear!
That is the kinda time when one needs to say "WE ARE RIDING EVEREST!" and take command of the situation. The rest of the park will be there later. Those opportunities are one chance (nothing against your wife btw).

Re: Everest on TV.

I missed this on Discovery channel this week. Does anyone know when it's going to air again?

Re: Everest on TV.

well, the specials are done. what did everyone think? I thought they were really informative and interesting. Now I just can't wait to go on E:E. Check www.discovery.com for re-airing dates for all the shows, they own all 4 channels.

Re: Everest on TV.

Saw parts and/or all of 3 specials. 1st one was done well on
the history of the Yeti. Very Interesting special.

The 2nd one was about building the ride, and there are some
spoilers in this special, but it got my Disney fix for this. At
lot about how they created some of the effects and built the
ride.

The 3rd one was the Jeff Corwin special, I really have enjoyed
all of his other shows and this one is no exception. Gotta love
his sense of humor . . .
