WDW's newly built entrance road from the west side of the property, named "Western Way" (original, eh?) is now opened for business. I just drove on it today. Takes you right behind DAK and DAKL so you get some partial views of the backside of those areas... and some views of Everest and Tree Of Life as well... But for those who may not be able to understand where this road leads to..
then concider this example.. You are heading south on the Turnpike from I-75. In order to get to WDW... from the Turnpike, you have to take the newly opened Western Beltway Expressway (#428) heading south about 15 mins until you see the WDW signs/Western Way Road. You get off there and follow the road into WDW, passing underneath a newly built "Welcome to WDW" Archway similar to the ones at the other 3 main entrances from the east and south. Western Way will take you directly behind DAK, the Tree Farm and Coronado Springs Resort, and end at Buena Vista Drive, between the Coronado Springs and Blizzard Beach. At that stop light, you turn right to go to DAK/DAKL, BB, Sports complex and AllStar Resorts. Or tunr left to ALL other areas of WDW...(MK, EC, MGM, DTD, and countless on property hotels)
Hope that helps you all coming into WDW from I-75 via the turnpike.
