When is the "Dave-Direct" line going to be installed?

I have two questions

1)When they were deciding on a major attraction to greenlight for DAK..what were some of the other attractions in the running aside from Expedition Everest?

2) Was there any truth to the rumor that before they decided on Everest..they were going to do a Reign of Fire Mountain Coaster assuming the movie was a sucess (which it wasnt) ?

1) Other attractions planned included "Soarin' Over the Serengeti"... a live version of what Warden Wilson experiences daily at Kilimanjaro Safaris. The attraction was later decided to be installed at Epcot with the same film as the California version to save on the budget, and because Nestle was willing to sponsor it. Another attraction, which was really a whole land, Australia, was not added due to cost and the idea that Animal Kingdom needed a real thrill ride, not more animals to watch.

2) Concepts are always tossed around for upcoming movies. But truth be told, WDI usually has a good idea if the movie will flop or not, and usually projects will stop right there before any major rides planned on the film can go forward. So yes, there is truth, but it was all very blue sky and had a short life.

Bill, why does Everest and Test Track suck so much?

Now, I don't think Everest sucks at all. It just needs a few minor changes here and there. Test Track on the other hand...

Bill, I think it is a great idea. When is the best time to ride? I want to know if night is better than day. Is there advantage in the FastPass? Do you miss too much of the queue?

I love it at night, so if the park is open late when you are here, be sure to ride at night, it is simply the best time to ride. FastPass makes the line shorter, but I love the standby line queue because of all the detail. Personally, I'd ride multiple times and do all the line queues. (Including singles and front row.) They're all very worth it.
