    Any "Thoughtful Spots" in WDW?

Are there any quiet spots that a family can just sit back and relax for a bit in
    WDW?

For example in DL, the Animation Building Lobby in DCA is dark, air-conditioned,
rarely crowded and the constant music and video makes it a very nice spot. Another
was the Sleeping Beauty Walkthru. :-( Also the walkway between Frontierland
    and Fantasyland.

    Anything like that in WDW?

The one that I can think of off the top of my head are:

    * Disneyland RR in MK
    * Tree of Life walk in DAK

Ijust think that DAK in general is a lazy park. Its nice to just sit down and watch all of the birds and such.

I also really like to just sit and enjoy the sight of the World Showcase at Epcot. That is one of my fav things to do at WDW!

    EP- SSE, American Adventure
AK- In the morning, relax in Pizzafari (it is almost always empty)

Haven't been in awhile, but I was going to suggest the gardens area of UK in Epcot World Showcase. I believe last I was there, there was a nice gazebo that seemed unoccupied at times.

Oh, you reminded me of another place...the walkway from Toontown to Tomorrowland (located right next ot the Toontown station). Very few people walk down this path, there are benches and you can sit back, relax and wave to the people passing by on the train. There are many pathways in the world that are rarely travelled. I've never been down it, but there is a pathway near Africa (in AK) that has Kangaroos.

If that's the area I'm thinking of, that gazebo is where The British Invasion plays. WHen they're not playing, though, that's a nice quiet place to kick back and relax out of the crowds.

Dinoland, right in front of the two coasters... It's thoughtful. You sit there and think "Gah! What the he** is this?!"

Okay i actually like Dinoland. It sounded funny.

It has become a small tradition for my wife and I to go to the Boardwalk hotel after a long day at the parks and sit on the big balcony facing the boardwalk and people watch. There is a large wicker chair there that is an "S" shape and you sit side by side but facing opposite directions (kinda hard to explain). It is one of our favorite things to do to relax!

I thought of another. The Land boat ride is kinda nice and relaxing, even if the boats look just like the ones from Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory. But i's nice just to ride and it's always nice and cool and requires very little thought processes. Same with Spaceship Earth, but i think someone already said that.

The waterfall path in the Canada pavillion is a wonderful, beautiful, and quite place to relax.

Also, the Spaceship Earth ride is a long and gentle ride to just sit and clear your mind. Especially the last half of the ride on your return to earth. It is a new age light show on the way down. Very nice.

As I said before, I enjoy the koi pond in Japan is my favorite, but pretty much anywhere in the World Showcase is good. I also enjoy the aquariums in the Living Seas.
