WDW1974 is Leaving the (Cyber) Building

I just wanted to post a quick note to all my friends here on the WDW Board that I will not be posting here for the next few months due to work, my trip to DLP and trek through Europe (see, Danny, I can use those damn smileys you love so much) and family obligations.

I have enjoyed my time here greatly and will try and do some lurking. I may even post a quick drive-by if I find out something that will be of interest to the community.

But I just don't have the time to be a regular right now.

To keep this topic from being moved where no one will see it, WDW1974 will be visiting WDW to celebrate his "At Least I'm Still 30-something B-Day'' from July 3-11. If any fellow Micechatters will be around and want to get together, drop me a PM here as I will check them periodically before heading to Europe.

And don't fret, there most certainly will be a very long and detailed DLP trip report coming this summer.

Thanks for helping me share my passion for WDW and Disney in general.

And please keep the DIsney Inqui...Mikey's head from swelling too much .

    Later folks.

    WDW1974

^^I plan to be back here posting sometime this summer.

I'll try and get the DLP trip report up when I return in early June, but I likely won't be able to post regularly until July.

But I will try and jump in if I get a chance.

I just won't be able to write my 1000-word posts. Have to leave that to Bill, since he is Da Man.

Okay... you do know that I told him he could bring his signature back? He's just too lazy to actually do so.

And I look forward to hearing your trip report and having you back.

I'm also celebrating my "I'm still "barely" 30 something birthday" at the beginning of July. You should talk Fishbulb into surprising me with a trip to WDW. Have a great time in Europe! Where are you going and how long will you be there?

I am going to Paris, London, Milan, Venice and Amsterdam. Likely a day trip to Switzerland too, although that's up in the air.

And two days at DLP, although I'll be staying onsite for five nights. Unfortunately, BOTH parks are only open 10 til 6 every day I'll be there, which sucks.

I have traveled a lot, but mostly North America, the Carribbean and Hawaii so this is a first across the Pond.

I'm very much looking forward to it.

Then I have my B-Day week at WDW to recover from my real vacation!

And thanks to all for the kind words. I shall be back. I just need to find time for a lot of things before I leave and when I come back, so the guilty pleasure that is Micechat will have to be taken off my daily diet for a while.

You could remind some of us when that WDW b-day time is (Cause some of us, me, forgets things)... some of the locals might still be in town and drive over...
