    Re: Little Park Maps

Hey...if Disney can be more nature-friendly AND cut costs, I'm fine with that--it'll get our E-tickets built that much faster. I never had any problem with Disneyland's "Guide to the 50th Anniversary Magic", and those don't have any description whatsoever. Do people really need a description of Pirates of the Caribbean? Certainly not at Disneyland where most of the guests are locals.

Has to do with the print time of the new maps, and the current inventory of the old maps those parks have. IE: get rid of the old ones before we use the new ones.

But they seriously needed to keep the big maps.. we need those restaurant descriptions badly!!! Without those, people won't be able to find the kind of meal or snack they want as easily. You'd be surprised how many times I made use of that portion of the map when working... heck, even when I wasn't working.. guests still asked me... in different parks... not even MK! I felt like I had a CM sign around my neck or something... grr... they just really need the descriptions, not just for the restaurants, but for everything...

And funny thing.. me being a map junkie... my mom was cleaning out our little vacation cupboard where we keep all our AAA things and such, and of course, the plethra of maps I bring home... and when we were cleaning it out, my mom told me to throw all the park maps out.. of course... the way I am.. I squirreled them all away! *insert evil laughter here*
You sound just like me. I have file cabinets full of these maps. And some go back to 1956.

I think one of my favorite things to do with maps... or at least when I was on my CP, each roommate would hang a map of their respective park on the wall of the living room.. or their bedroom door.. They are indeed great decorations!
