While out for my Jeopardy audition, and since it was only 4 blocks away, I decided a trip to the NYC World of Disney store was necessary. While there, I came across a great poster celebrating 50 years of theme park magic. While I know the controvery surrounding the WDW/DL 50th confusion, this poster was too good to pass up. Basically, it's 50 different mouse ears, each one celebrating a different attraction or even in theme park history. What makes it so exciting, and makes me put it in the WDW thread? Some of the ears are very nostalgic: The EPCOT ears contain the original Future World symbols, Dreamfinder is included on the Journey in to Imagination ears, and Carrousel of Progress has its own set of ears as well. It's a great poster, and I've never heard of it before. It's really a great poster, and must be fairly popular, since I picked up the last one at the store...just thought I'd share.

I'm curious. Is this a poster showing all the jumbo mouse ear pins they have produced for the 50th? Because I have seen Jumbo pins at WDW that have the old Epcot Symbols and Dreamfinder and Figment. Is there anyway you can post a picture?

Also, as you can see in my signature I'm all about old school Epcot symbols.

Edited to add: I just found some pictures of the pins I was talking about. Did the ears look like this?

Yes! That's exactly what they look like! However, it's not a picture of the actual pins, but more like paintings or drawings of them.

Still a cool poster though. Wanted to post a pic, but couldn't find one online, and my camera isn't exactly in functioning order...

I might have to pick up this poster then. I'm still kicking myself because I didn't buy the Jumbo Epcot Pin when I saw it, but I was low on cash at the time. Maybe I'll just pick up the poster and get them all at once so to speak.

I don't know. It would have made sense, but the gold mouse ears, the last picture on the poster, are the DL gold mouse ears with band leader Mickey, so go figure.

making a mental note to take up a collection so yo yo can get a decent camera. whys is it digital cameras cost so much money but only last a couple of years?
