Tell us a bit more about the hotel. What did and didn't you like about it? I'll be there in less than a week and I'm curious.

I've never been on the Keys to the Kingdom tour, but would love to. I think we may try the Segway tour at EPCOT.

What would you say your favorite ride of the trip was?
Well, we stayed at Caribbean Beach and it just seemed like it was missing some of that Disney magic, specifically in the cast members. We ate at the cafeteria there a lot and it seemed like there were only a few cast members that you could get to smile...maybe it was just early morning or whatever, but it seemed odd considering Disney is known for guest services.

The resort wasn't bad though. When it comes down to it we were only there to sleep, we opened and closed the parks the whole time we were there AND did Downtown Disney several times. On a side note the beds seemed kind of creaky (and nooo, I don't mean that dirty...it was just every time on of us rolled over it seemed REALLY loud).

As for my favorite ride, I think Splash Mountain will ALWAYS be my favorite in Magic Kingdom (WDW and DL), Everest was terrifyingly fun and we went on that one a LOT. If any of you have the chance to ride it and have not, I recommend it!

as for the tour, it was really great, although I can see where it would be a lot of fun with a bunch of micechatter (our group was SUPER quiet!). Our guide (her name was Hope) was really good. You get little head-sets so you can all follow her around and hear everything she says clearly. You get lunch (included in the price), and cool little pin, and you get to go down into the Utilidaor system under magic kingdom (although I would have liked to see more...). Although again, if you're a big park buff, some of it will be 'review' of things you already know. But for me, it was lots of fun and I learned a lot.

first I am a very large woman, those of you I have met already know that. and idon't appreciate remarks about half of the americans being overweight and disabled. yes i get a wheelchair when I am at the parks, I don't get those evc's because i would be someone who would run over a small child or run into someone. but overweight or not I deserve the same treatment as everyone else.
second. I don''t know who raised you men, but it is common courtesy if nothing else for you strapping gents to give up your seats for a woman who has her hands full no matter how inconvinient it is for you.

Look at the statistics on this: a high percentage of American are overweight, period. You don't have to appreciate people being honest about this issue, but avoiding the issue won't help the situation. Sorry to be so frank about this, but having a disability, whether it being imaginary, self-imposed, or simply because of lack of self caring should not be reason to expect the rest of the World to bow to you. Yes, you do deserve to be treated the same way everyone else is, but non-disable or people in thier proper weight parameters expect the same as well.
And yes, I would be the first person to give up a seat to someone who could use it if needs be.

You know me, I was raised in the cave of wonders...

And I didn't mean to offend you... not exactly sure what post did.

When I said disabled passengers load first, I meant people who remain in their chair on the bus ride...

Great pics (and tee) Quasimodo, thanks for sharing!

Everytime I go I always say I'll set aside some time for the Keys to the Kingdom tour, maybe next time.

okay, so...I started it, I guess I should finish it:

if anyone wants to start another thread about the buses PLEASE do, but please don't mention it anymore here. I don't want this thread to end up in the litter box.

not that this thread has to go on forever...but yeah...I rather it not end THAT way...anywho...
