Question - what is the Africa pavilion that is currently in Epcot's WS? I can't even remember what two countries it's in between. There is a little shopping, musicians playing sometimes, etc. It's not a country, so what is the point?

It's not technically an African pavilion, but it was a placeholder for where the actual pavilion was going to go, before the idea was cancelled. It is more of a catch all, since I believe Australia is also included there too, so it's not primarily Africa. It's just a nicely themed spot for a drink or some entertainment from underrepresented nations/countries/continents.
It's a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah...Tip for Today!
Australia is only there during the Food & Wine Festival in the fall.
The area you're referring to though is the Trading Post... or something like that.
The snack bar and shop are African-themed because they were built when it was still hoped an African-pavillion would come later in that area.
And it's in World Showcase, not Future World.
Wow, sorry! I'm not an idiot believe me - I know it's in World Showcase, not Future World. It's just that acronyms get a tad confusing now and then (FW....WS....FW....WS)Originally Posted by lazyboy97O

I believe that they do sell items from Australia in there throughout the year though. I remember seeing boomerangs in there for a while.Originally Posted by aimster
