The skyway was such a great way to get a view of the park. As a child, rides like this were among my favorites at the parks that I went to that had them. Sadly, there are very few of them left anywhere. I don't know of any at all.

I voted for AE. Although I do love SGE, I liked AE even more. Although I do think Timekeeper was exceptionally funny, I'd rather something new that the general public actually wants to visit. As for the rest, they can rest in peace for all I care.

I voted Skyway, but my heart truly belongs with CoP Pre-75.

You left off the one I miss the most. Bring back "If You Had Wings".

Re: The one TL attraction that deserves a second chance

The Alien Encounter worked within the parameters that TL was a portal to the universe. Unlike EPCOT's Future World that explored the possiblities of a our future, TL, IMHO, should feel like that future is here and the issues with that future. No explainations necessary.

Secondly, the ride wasn't like the others. There was a feel to it that was totally different then the other attractions that I appreciated. Yes, it was a boiling point for all those parents who couldn't read warnings, but still...

I wish they hadn't closed timekeeper but instead used Galaxy Palace Theater's space. You know Timekeeper could easily be rebuilt in Epcot. And like others and myself have said I liked Timekeeper but AE deserves a 2nd chance more.

(wow, I've gotten to and gone over 100 posts. Yes! I'll give my self a pat on the back. )

It would be nice to see Space Mountain re-done. I like that tomorrowland changes, but it needs to still be thinking towards the FUTURE not characters.

Well my 1st choice is to redo SM like at DL but AE was awesome! There are very few non-rollercoaster rides that make me scream.

I'm surprised this one is as close as it is. However, I will say that Tomorrowland is definitely home to the best extinct attractions of any other area of WDW.

Re: The one TL attraction that deserves a second chance

I didn't realize skyway had so many fans especially because it was just so simplistic. In complete reality all the other options seem feasible. The skyway will never come back sadly just because of legal reasons. It is sort of ridiculous to close the skyway and do nothing with the buildings. Even if they turned them into shops (ala Tokyo disneyland) or restaurants it would be something.

Thing with Timekeeper though is that it's no longer popular. Even in the most crowded of times (like early July) it barely got a crowd. The only time it did get a crowd was when a storm came and people wanted to get out of the rain. Although I do like Timekeeper, I'd rather something many people would enjoy.

Yes! AE is winning, take that SGE & MK!
A vote for AE doesn't necessarily mean the person does not like SGE. Take for example Horizons. Just because I liked Horizons doesn't mean I don't love Mission: Space.

Good point. I'm a fan of M:S and Horizons as well. I think his point, more than anything, was that if this poll was any indication, the WDW fanbase wasn't ready for AE to close after only 8 years (Where attractions of similar status live around 15 or so years). And that not everyone thinks that the MK has to be a "kiddie" park

Re: The one TL attraction that deserves a second chance

Trust me I like SGE but, I just like AE better. I think AE just utilizes the same tech. bettter. I don't hate SGE, It's just if I had the choice I would rather have AE. This really doesn't have to do with this poll but, I also don't think that disney parks need to be tailored to the young ones. There should be something for everyone. Back on topic, what I was saying was that MK should understand was that AE isn't a failed show or a hated one. People really like it!

P.S. I wish I could have M:S and Horizons. Both rock!

I would say Alien Encounter. Skyway was fun but it didnt really fit the theme of the land and it wasnt like california's where you go threw the matterhorn and see the yeti. Alien Encounter however was a well done attraction and the thing that replaced it is not only a far inferior attraction, it is probably one of the worst attractions in disney history ranking right down there with such bad garbage as "Superstar Limo" and "Journey into your imagination".

I voted that they belong in the past. I don't miss any of them, especially AE.
