    Bloody Day at MGM

    Well, we were at MGM Studios today, filming in the normally-restricted alleyway in Streets of America. Our film required stage blood, and lots of it. Needless to say, things got a bit messy. Though the area is restricted, guests can still see into it, so there were quite a bit of stares from people. This was a sort of test project, doing a one-shot, 30 second long short film. The premise was a man killing a prostitute. Not exactly a family-friendly plot. Anyhoo, we hosed off most of the blood, but there's still a few pink stains so if you're ever passing by the alley (the gate in back of an ice-cream stand), look for the ledge/banister thing next to the stairs leading down.

    At one point, a guy asked if we were filming a new Disney movie...

    I'm actually more suprised about something being filmed in the Studios other than a Disney commercial, more than I am the phony blood.

    I'm assuming this is or the film-making/producing camp that they have dow there, no? I've always wanted to do it... but never have...

    Yeah, it's for the New York Film Academy.

    Actually, all that blood was a bit unnecessary, but I figured it made it look more like authentic California.
