WDW's "Embarrassing" Jack Sparrow Face Character

Al, I love your news and rumors, I do, but to suggest WDW is always horrible at Face Characters and just a low life place that tries to be like DL.

    Now......

Meh...they need a guy with real facial hair, not makeup portraying facial hair!

Disney has a policy against facial hair for CMs unless it's for a part, my guess is that guy does more than just Jack, and thus, no beard.

Still...I'm sure if that poor CM gets too hot, his "bear" might smudge off from the sweat.

Maybe he can't grow a beard like that or it's the wrong color. I don't think I'd want to walk around with a Jack Sparrow beard outside of that part.

Check out the video and you'll see that the guy has the mannerisms down pat - his voice isn't spot-on, but I think it's a great job.

whether or not they 'got the idea from disneyland' or if disneyland went to a lot of effort with serious actors when casting the role, I do think Al made it sound way discrediting to the people who will actually be filling this role. it's like it doesn't matter who it ends up they're just a 2nd rate nobody who isn't going to put their heart into it if you just go by the article. I'm sure they'll be entertaining.

The voice is horrible, he sounds way too sober and doesn't have the confusing pattern of speech. But overall he's not too bad, although he doesn't seem quite skinny enough.
