I saw a picture over at Mousegeeks.com that seemed to imply that the Liberty Belle was no longer in rehab and was back in service early. Is this so? We're going next week and, believe it or not, I've never gone on the boat.

That would be nice. I'm going in 2½ weeks and I can't remember if I've even been on that boat.
Where is this photo? As far as I know the Riverboat is still out of the park.
Everything from WDW says it will not return to service until late Sept.

I love that boat so much. The river was so dead last year without it, you could definitely tell what a huge difference it made not having it pass you by. And I haven't ridden it for a good five years, so I can't wait til this October.

(VERY OLD!) TRIP REPORTS
No. That photo is wrong. Dated 7-14. I was there after them. It is not in the canal dock anymore but it is not running and is now out of the park. It was taken across the 7 Seas and Bay Lake to the dry docks. It isn't running.
I hope it is back before the 14th Septmeber.
We didn't have time to ride in in Nov 04, then last Sep it was closed. Then in January this year at DLP the riverboat was closed for the winter.![]()
The Riverboat is sure closed a lot more then its open lately. Or at least, it seems that way.
It has been closed for over a year now. I almost want to say it is going on a year and a half or so? But it is set to be back up by the end of september (please note that all attractions and shows are subject to change without notice) according to all the Disney stuff. That river has never had the best of luck with its boats.

That's too bad. I was looking forward to actually riding it this time. Oh well, there's still Tom Sawyer's Island which I've never experienced either.
Don't think so.. I think the previous schedule I saw said sept 22Originally Posted by disneydaft

It's about a year now. It closed sometime last summer between my June & July visits, and was supposed to reopen the end of October.
Ouch.
I hope they didn't drop this one too.
