    Trip Report 7/17-7/19

Ok. The reason I waited so long to do the trip report was because I wanted to wait until all the pictures were developed. (yes developed some poor people still don't have digital cameras but I'm getting one next week and will have it for DL! ) Well the day 1 pictures aren't developed yet so I'll just report on days 2 and 3 until then.

    Day 2 (7/18/06)

Started the day off at Epcot.

The first thing we did was go get some fastpasses for Soarin. And when we did we got some surprise fastpasses for Honey I Shrunk The Audience. I've never gotten a "surprise" fastpass before so that was cool. Next we cut thorough the character greeting area and took some pictures in front of the fountain.

Next we walked into Club Cool. Man that drink from China is good. I don't remember that from last time I went to Epcot. Then again that was 6 years ago and I was 11. Anyway the world showcase was just opening so we walked around there.

Don't ask me what the hell my brother is doing. I have no idea.

Anyway we made it to France before we turned around because it was time to use our HISTA fastpasses. After that we went and used our Soarin passes. And all I have to say is wow. That ride was so amazing! I actually felt like my feet should be touching trees and ocean water. Is the guy that does the pre-ride movie Patrick Warburton? After that we headed to Test Track to get fast passes. And cut through the character greeting area.

After doing Maelstrom and getting some more character pictures.

We went over to Animal Kingdom to see if Everest was working. (it hadn't been the previous day when we were there and had fastpasses for it). It wasn't so we did its tough to be a bug.

    Dinosaur

    And Kali River Rapids

We then headed back to Epcot to use our Test Track fastpasses. My dad loved it. Next we went to check out the Nemofied living seas.

Turtle Talk was impossible to get anywhere near so we left. Everybody was tired so we headed back to the hotel. And that's day 2.

Days 1 and 3 coming soon!

Sounds like you had a great time. What kind of camera is that? The pics seem a bit fuzzy - is that the camera or just the scanner?

You'll definitely love the convenience of having a digital camera and being able to upload pictures at a moment's notice.

I, well - my mom, has a regular camera simply because she likes the quality better. It's a fancy EOS one with a large zoom lens.

Anyway - if you get pics developed at Wal Mart, you can pay about $2 extra a roll to have them put on a CD. Then you don't have to scan. I have a scanner, and A LOT of the quality is lost through the scanning process. Just a suggestion....

Thanks for sharing your trip report!

Most any major store/drug store chain that offers film developing offers the same basic service...not just Wallyworld.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful trip report. I like your commentary very much. I felt as if I were along for the ride. Unfortunately I also felt your exhaustion when you had to head back to the hotel so now I have to take a nap. DANGIT!

Yes, the host of Soarin' is indeed Patrick Warburton.

You should enjoy Soarin' at DCA. I'm sure the line is shorter in Cali.
