Craving Hollywood and Vine...
I keep getting these mad cravings for the Hollywood and Vine buffet dinner at the Studios. Like, seriously, the food there was out of this world. The chicken... the pasta... the sauces... and the mini Snickers cheesecakes! Oh lord.
So what's your favourite dining experience at the Studios? Or any of the parks and resorts for that matter?

I'm a big Brown Derby fan. I like the elegance of the room, and the food is usually pretty fine.

Yeah, we are hoping to make a point of dining there for lunch this year. It does look quite impressive.

I must be a cheap date, I'm all about the fun food!:)) Turkey legs and spicy cheese stuffed pretzels in Tomorrowland for me. Don't get me wrong, there are some awsome restaurants in WDW, Le Cellier for one, but when I'm gearing up for a WDW trip all I seem to think about is the junk food and eating my way around Epcot with a Kir Royale in France at the end of it. We are going to try and see if we can get PS for a Chef Mickey breakfast at Contemporary in Oct. Has anyone eaten there?

Three words.
Flame. Tree. BBQ.
Actually, that's two words and three letters, but whatever.
Sometimes I crave it when I'm not hungry.

Disney-MGM Studios? - Prime Time Cafe.
Entire Resort? - Ohanas

Hollywood and Vine is great!
Also really enjoyed lunch at Cinderella's Castle. Very good food, lots of fun for all ages.
Garden Grill is probably my fave so far.
Lots of great dining choices at WDW. Can't say I've ever had a "bad" meal there. :)

That was totally not Bill who did that.
Re: Craving Hollywood and Vine...
oh wait.. i forgot.. BPF, and jeff, and summer, and a few others...
never have PB&J for breakfast, then have a PB&J shake for lunch dissert, then be out in the hot humid florida summer...
PB&J shakes are best for dissert with dinner...

I enjoy 50's Prime Time. In fact, it's the only place in MGM that I've ever had a meal. Never been dissapointed in the food, although since they toned down the "guest interactions" it's not as much fun as when I was made to stand in the corner for not using a fork.
I hope to one day hit the Brown Derby and Hollywood and Vine since I've heard so much about them.
A dessert shake? Isn't that what Jello does? :D

For some reason, the butternut squash soup at Boma made an impression on me. And I haven't eaten there since 2004. I tried to match it, but it wasn't the same.

I'm not sure what I like best at MGM. I enjoyed the Brown Derby for nuance, but can't recall what I ate there. I LOVED the Sci Fi Cafe the first time I went there as a single fellow, but when I returned years later with my wife and 9 year old daughter, it wasn't anywhere near as fun as I remembered. Perhaps it's because my daughter wasn't all that impressed with the place, though she liked the chocolate milk with the flashing ice cube.
Always a fan of the Prime Time Cafe, but (again) the last time I went, I got a rather lackluster waitress, which sort of spoiled the experience. THe first time I went, my waiter was SPECTACULAR. Very snide, just like your cousin might be -- and my brother and I drew pictures of him on our placemats in our best "little kid" style (with airplanes shooting at his head and so on) and the fellow was actually flattered at the end of the meal when we gave them to him. It was really fun. My last go round, however, the waitress didn't seem all that into it, and kind of shovelled our food out like she was dealing cards, and off she went.
My favorite restaurant in all the Kingdom? Liberty Tree Tavern, hands down.
