    Eliminate from WDW

WDW has become way too big and some quality has suffered due to it. Let's imagine you are a manager at WDW and were given the task to eliminate one aspect of WDW to save cost and use the money saved for another pressing matters, such as upgrading the classic MK rides...

What in WDW would you take out???

YOu seem to show an awful lot of negativity about the World,
why do you go there and complain about it if you won't have a good time?

Maybe because I *CAN* go there??? Unlike you?? But cut me a break here as I am exposing the negative/deficient aspects of WDW, rather than being negative. I have given WDW praise when due, and most of you never care to comment on those posts, but search and chastize me for ones youperceive as negative. Have you ever heard of "Tough Love"?

Yes, but I couldn't vote for that.

I think that the DTD West Side could go, but one thing that people are voting for should stay - The Wild World of Sports Complex. I'm not sure if everyone voting is quite aware of what that complex does, holds, and means to the company. It allows major sports teams to come and practice and have games there in the pre-season, it allows for national and international youth competitions, and for sports teams of all kinds to visit with a common connection.

Having that complex allows Disney to get more groups visiting their property, who often stay on property (even if at a value resort). Besides the money that is spent by them, memories are made (as this is often the first or one of few visits for MANY of these students). From there, the local newspapers will often write about a certain team going to Disney World for a competition, their trip, experience, etc. It is great publicity for Disney, youth activities/involvement and as well as a central sports location for Disney. You can't forget that Disney owns ESPN and that sports link as well.

Voted Fastpass, WWoS, and the obvious manager. Wish the racetrack was up there, too.

DAK is some of the best theming, well, the only theming that Disney has done in this country for years. Keep it.

At DTD, I would sooner get rid of the Marketplace than WestSide. This may sound like hearsay to common visitors with nostalgic memories of the LBV shopping center, but as a visitor out of my element that is what I saw.

Mini Golf is cheap and easy to run. Especially when they have as many REAL golf courses as they do.

I assume "hotels" doesn't include DVC. If it does, you might want to mark me down on that one, too.

I'm counting down the days until my first DVC "trip home" to Saratoga Springs. DVC cannot go. I'm assuming that all of the DVC criticisms come from non-members or wannabe members.

Yes please. TDLFan is that rich uncle that complains about everything but you just ignore because he's a relative and there isn't much you can do about it anyway. LOL

Love ya, I do! But you do tend to rub people the wrong way, every time someone disagrees with you.

He is a sweet person, someone who is passionate about WDW and the way things used to be. I admire his dedication to try and fix things the way they should be because after all if no one did, then things would never change.

I personally don't have that much energy. LOL

Gee whatever gave you that idea?

Sorry but DVC, as well as 90% of the hotels on Disney property, are places I can only dream about staying at because they are way, way WAY out of my budget. I'm lucky I can afford to stay at the Grosvenor for ONE night when I'll be up there in 3 weeks.
