Re: "Dream Along with Mickey" castle show.

Then , there is MC Hammer Mickey and Madonna Minnie (from TDL back in the 90s)...
AND... on this show, Minnie impersonated Janet Jackson in a RhythmNation number, complete with military outfit Janet wore onthe video, but I can't find a photo of that right now...

Sorry, that was a lame attempt to put down TDL.

Well, remember Madonna's long pony tail during her "Blond Ambition" tour? What you see on Minnie's head is the round "hair clip" at the top of her long pony tail wig. Sorry that can't be better appreciated in this photo. The other thingy is her headphone and microphone.. Think Madonna's Blond Ambition.

The best part was the dead on impersonation of the dancer in the Mickey outfit. It was just like seeing MC Hammer in his "Can't touch this" video. A riot and a half to see!!!!

Sorry, I don't know Madonna that well.

Since the theme appears to be "entertainment that Americans are embarrassed about," I'm guessing that Roger Rabbit is Carrot Top?

Actually, you may be embarrased about this, but this particualr show, which was called "Roger Rabbit's Dancing Time Warp" was very very popular and had a cult fan following. The show premise was Roger and his musical time machine...and everytime Roger would turn his machine on, we would end up in another musical time. Other highlights of this show included Mickey Travolta in white disco outfit doing the BeeGess "Night Fever", Chip and Dale as the Blues Brothers, and Elvis Donald.. This was one of the smaller side shows I miss the most from TDL's history. It was presented daily in the Tomorroland Terrace Stage and it was always standing room only. FAB FAB show!!! I miss it a lot.

Re: "Dream Along with Mickey" castle show.

ORDDU: My sisters and I managed to watch this new stage show for the first time today--Saturday, Sept. 30th--and have to say that it's a vast improvement over Cinderellabration. For one thing, Prince Phillip never looked more delicious than he did today. Actually all 3 Princes looked dashing in their new costumes.

ORWEN: And it was nice to have Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy in the show, too! The new costumes for all the Disney Couples were the best yet!

ORGOCH: Only thing 'bout the show that got MY attention was when ol' Maleficent showed up. That gal sure knows how ta make herself seen 'n heard, don't she though? 'Course I thought it was sad how she just went 'n gave up so soon after tryin' ta bring some life inta the party. No sooner showed up befer she went 'n left the stage!! Oh, well--some day a villian shows gonna' be the main attraction in front a Cindersmelly's Castle!!
