    Does anyone know why they were taken away? Was it just a matter of trimming the budget?
    I noticed that they attributed the burning cabin to renegade river pirates. That is a good subsitute storyline if Disney wanted to stay away from blaming it on Indians.

    Once again the Pay One Price comes back to bite. With A - E tickets Disney would have kept the Keel Boats I bet.

    I agree...even though I saw the boats running, it seemed to me that they were always down because of something. Why did they close this attraction?

    Low capacity...liability. They were free roaming tippable boats.
