    Gift Suggestions - Availability?

    Hi WDWites!

I'm looking for sugestions on what I can buy in the WDW as a gift for my boss. She's the best boss I've ever had, and she's going through a rough time lately. When I asked for the time off for the WDW trip, she said she was jealous and wshed she could go.

so, I thought I'd buy her a Christmas gift down there. I don't know much about her interests or characters or anything, except that she likes baseball. So I was thinking something like that - a baseball Mickey figurine? Does such a thing exist or would it even be out in the non-baseball season?

Does anyone have any suggestions like that? i'm looking for 30 or so $$. And is there a shop like DL's Disneyana that sells figures and such? Nam/location? (I assume there is one!!)

Oh and do they ship it home or will I have to try to carefully cradle it in my luggage?

    Thanks
    Good morning, son

Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

There are baseball themed Mickey Mouse figures available but they are mainly in the bobble head variety. There is also a baseball jersey for Mickey Mouse. As for shops, the above mentioned items can be found at Team Disney in Downtown Disney as well as The World of Disney. In the parks I know they can be found at The Athletic Club on Main Street USA as well as Mouse Gear in Epcot. At the Studios, one of the shops on Hollywood Boulevard sells them, but i am not sure exactly which one it is, my guess is Mickey & Co. The baseball Jersey is nice but I beleive more in the $50 range and the Bobblehead figure is more in the $30 range.

Disney Days of Christmas at Downtown Disney may also have some baseball themed christmas ornaments as well.

While at Downtown Disney also check out the The Art of Disney shops. There is also an Art of Disney shop in Epcot Future World.

A bobblehead might do... She does have a sense of humor!! A $50 jersey might be a bit much, in price and meaning.

Thnks so much for the reply! I will definately visit those shops

Team Disney at Downtown Disney is great for all your Disney sports related needs. They have an assortment of ESPN themed merchandise as well.

NNL there is a wonderful Christmas store at DTD. They had Mickey Baseball ornaments and they do wonderful personalization. You can have them shipped home to you if you don't want to worry about them breaking.

Just be careful, that store is dangerous in the money spending way

If it were me, I'd go simple but effective. Get a set of mouse ears with her name stitched on it. Sure, it's cheap. But people just seem to freak out when the get a set of ears. I've given them to my office mates, and every one of them has the ears still displayed in their work area.

    Good luck!
