Well. It was a great trip. We left 3 hours early, but stopped at the rest area to nap. LOL
We went to the beach Sat. It was windy and cold. So we didn’t stay long. But on the way back I got pics of the Disney Cruise liner.
Pics are kinda hard to see, but this is the Disney Cruise Liner
Now for the report you want to hear.
We got up late so we were an hour late to the parks. We skipped AK and went straight to EPCOT. We were even lucky to get to ride in the cab of the monorail with out wait. It was great. I even got my co-pilots license. :D
Here is the group. Left to right. My friend (Tim) My wife (Shannon) and Me (John)
We got to EPCOT and first thing was get FastPass for Mission Space, but then noticed the wait time was only 20 mins so we got in line. After getting pics of Space Mickey and Goofy.
WHAT AN AWESOME RIDE!!!!!!! There is no way to describe the felling.
We then went and got FP for Test Track and rode Spaceship Earth. Now on to Test Track.
WOW!!!! What a rush. 67.7MPH
Well, then it was time to grab the monorail back to TTC and then the bus to the Studios.
Got FP for ToT and stood in line for RnRC.
VERY impressed with this ride. An indoor roller coaster with flips and twist. Only Disney.
Then it was time for Lights, Motor, Action!!!
Only one thing to say. OH MY GOD!!! :D :D :D Remarkable. I’ll let the pics speak for themself.
and everyones favorite love bug...
Well, after that we went to ToT with FP.
I loved it. My Wife was all  and digging her fingers into mine and my friends legs (she was always in the middle) Got the drop, then back up, then half drop, and the smell of burnt rubber, and got to see the “statues” it was great. Even saw the “hidden Mickey” from just before the mirror door with the stars opens.
Well, now it’s time to hop the buss back to TTC and on to MK.
First thing we did was go straight to the Haunted Mansion. Walking up to it. It looked a lot smaller then I remember. I hate to sound so negitiv, but the Haunted Mansion REALLY needs a referb. The ride is supposed to be 7.5 mins long, From the time we sat in the doombuggy till we got off was maybe 4 mins. I was pissed.
here is Master Gracey’s grave stone. The red rose on top is placed ther every morning by CM’s. Rumor has it that if they forget one day, the ride shuts down and has all kinds of problems.
and here is Leota’s toome stone with the eyes open. I took this pic and didn’t realise the eyes were open. Great shot.
Now here is the ring. We were looking for it and I asked a CM “wheres the ring?” He looked at me and asked, “where did you hear about the ring?” I said “Name a web site. MiceChat.com, Doombuggies.com, Haunted Mansion.com.” He says “Oh your one of thoes people. Just don’t belive what you hear.” I said “I know what it really is, I just like the story.” He then showed us and said “Have fun guys.” Now here is a pic of the ring. I shoul dhave placed my wedding ring next to it for comparison, this “ring” is REALLY small. You could possibly fit it around a pencil but that’s about it. But I still like the story.
Then it was off to Splash Mountain. I don’t remember that ride being so wet. LOL. Then it was off to Thunder Mountain.
And then to PotC.
By then it was getting late and we didn’t have much time before “Wishes” so my friend went to go ride Space Mountain while my wife and I went to IASW. WOW!!! What an improvement. The place looked great. Fresh paint, everything bright and shinny.
After that we went and got a great spot to watch “Wishes”.
I have to say that this was a truly amazing fireworks show.
And after 18 years living in Orlando and my father retiring from WDW and going to the parks 3-4 times a year. I had NEVER seen Tinker Bell fly (as far as I can remember). That was really cool. Seeing the look on my wife’s face when Tink flew over was priceless.
I did the dumbest thing. I waited till AFTER “Wishes” to go shopping. The only thing I bought at WDW were my ears. I was going to have them put my name on them, but the line was too long. But I did earn my ears.
Pardon the dumb look on my face.
We waited around until the crowd died down some, then we got on the monorail resort loop (only one running that night which I though was weird), we rode it around to the GF and was going to do more shopping, but the CM told us the shops inside closed at 10:00, so since there was no one around waiting we hoped into the nose and we going to ride the rails until the last monorail run, but she told us she could only take us back where she picked us up. So we got off at TTC and took the tram back to the car.
It was a great trip. We ate lunch at Pizza Planet at the Studios. 3 personal pizzas and 2 drinks $22.50 I grabbed a hand full of the napkins with Mickey on them.
That’s all I have MANY, MANY more pics. I feel bad. I tried to do so much in one day I didn’t take enought pics. I have room for 590 pics on my digital cam and we had 4 rolls of film and I only took 100 pics. :( Oh well. Next year we’re doing 2 weeks and 2 days at WDW.
