The walls around the pavilion have been removed, because of this I annoyed Ledgendary Bill enough to get me photos and a short video clip..

I have a question regarding this ride.... I always thought that it was a submarine type thing that you had to step down in.. like a real on with the little metal ladder. The pictures show shell type things that look like the doom buggies. How does this ride work?

    Thanks!!

Awesome pictures BTW. Oh and gosh. I HATE those seagulls. They're like nails on a chalk board to me. Eep!

To live would be an awfully big adventure.

I think you may be confusing Disneyland with Disneyworld. The Finding Nemo ride at EPCOT is in an omnimover style "Sea Cab" while the Disneyland ride is based in the old Subs. Similar special effects and idea, different ride vehicles.

I'm told it should be a great preview of what to expect of the Subs at Disneyland, only Disneyland's will be better.

I agree, still cool. Sad to see my "The Living Seas" ["The Living Nemo"] into "The Seas: With Nemo and Friends" officially though. Oh well, what can you expect with Ep-ity-cot since the wand still lives?

Nemo was open! I was there and on it!!!!

Yesterday, my last day on vacation, I was lucky enough to be in the 3rd clam mobile ever of "guests". I got to the park around 8:35 and the walls were down (which I wont go over as there is athread about it already but here is my fav video of them http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...t=100_1356.flv) so I hung out till about 11 did Figment then came back just in time to see all the managers at the front entrance saying this is only a test run of it and not to rush.
We were escorted through the queue by a CM named Benji, who seemed VERY excited to be doing this job. He pointed out everything as we walked the queue. The first room is the same queue from Living Seas just with a beach theme here is the signs in the queue.

Then we start to go underwater. I don't remember all the details of the lay out, but the old round theater is still very intact with it being very dark and lots of turnarounds. (sorry it is so dark but a flash would have killed the effect)

Then we head to where the hydrolators used to be where we had the boats above us with the cool ripple effect.

The queue is nice, but very dark not anything that stands out but we walked it very fast. When we reached the load platform all the managers started clapping and taking pics.
The load platform is in a new area, only bad thing about the attraction is you can see the exit so the being transported someplace feel is gone. But the clam mobiles are hard cars with a small door that closes in the front. The moving walk way has rays on it which is great on the theming.

The ride its self is a great dark ride. Each scene flows very fast into each other with out much chance to get lost....if you don't know the basic story is everyone thinks Nemo is lost again, when is is playing more of a hide and seek. The whole gang is there from Mr. Rays class to the angler fish AA (only one in the attraction), which has to be one of the best AA's I have seen when you come up to him he looks like a puppet from the Little Mermaid show it is really cool. The song is a bit forced, and as Peach says it never stops but it is cute. Peach has to be the funnest part of the attraction, she is at the end saying "take me with you please. The song is nice but it never ends...I mean it really never ends."
Overall the attraction is very nice and well done. The technology used to make it seem like Nemo and friends are in the tank hits is mark, I have been hearing how it will look like they are in the tank for years and always had my doubts, but it is really amazing. This will be a sure fire hit with kids and adults alike. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

And now for the first time ever above ground....a VERY dark ride on Nemos undersea adventures.....
Here is also the link to it so you can see it a bit bigger if you like http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...t=100_1366.flv

She shows up a few times, but no "just keep swiming" and no whale talk.

Near the end of the video, I could actually see things a little better. Dory, Crush...the whole gang. Thanks for sharing...I think right now I have to wait another 3 or 4 years before I can get to Disneyland to see it, but at least this helps...thank you!

plus the gulls don't talk non stop, only ever so often or so it seems from the reports I've heard so they shouldn't be too bad.
