    WDW MC meets?

So I'm going on a "deployment" to Florida for 6 months starting next week. I'm pretty stoked, because I found out that even though it is considered a deployment, I'll be getting a lot of time off (4 days on, 3 days off to be exact). I'll be about 45 min to an hour away from WDW, and I have decided to get an AP while I'm there. My wife will be staying with her parents in California, so I'll be going alone. I was wondering if the Floridian MCers meet like the Disneyland MCers do. It would be great to meet some of the east coast members!
I don't mind going to the parks alone, but if anyone would be interested in going with me, I would be more than happy to have a WDW buddy.

Don't go. Seriously, you'll be scared off WDW for life with these guys as your pals!

Nah. I had an awesome time. The company was immense, I was made to feel very welcome, and I had an amazing day with them. I would have gone to another one but someone wouldn't wake up.

Sorry I couldn't find you either aimster. I looked all over Epcot on the 19th and I think I wrote down the wrong time to meet Taggart and the gang at Nemo. I was there at 3:30. We did meet Drince at Studios on Sat. I was wearing a POTC baseball cap. So if you saw a chubby brunette with a grey baseball cap it was me.

    Macdill, eh?

We really should have regular meets. I hardly know anyone around here.

Anyone up for a standard Saturday meet, say 1:00 or 2:00? Epcot or MK, maybe?

I go pretty often (at least once a month) for a few days at a time, but now I will be heading up even more trying to tie some loose ends with a job and place to live in that area. You should post a yahoo disney calendar or something.

Thumbs up Re: WDW MC meets?

I am not an East Mice Chatter. I am a MidWest Mice Chatter. But I will be down in WDW from December 6-10, 2006 and would be interested in a meet up. Since my time is limited, I have planned on attending special events like MVMCP, CP, and the Yuletide Fantasy tour. But other than that I am free for a meet.

Me too. Still waiting for me dinner, and HKDL/TDR brochures for Speedway are still sitting on my desk.

    I don't 'do' meets ... not my style ...

I do meet certain folks who I feel will benefit from knowing me and vice versa. Besides, I can be scary ...

ORDDU: Oh, my!! What have we here? A gorgeous, hunky military man all alone and available in Florida?! It's enough to give a witch the itch to hop her broomstick on a quick flight to the Second Happiest Place on Earth!

ORGOCH: Which means ya best not let anybody in THIS coven know yer schedule, CA Man in HI, ducklin'! Last thing ya need's an old theme park hag diggin' her claws inta ya. I'll see what I can do ta stall the ol' tramp. But ya better be careful whilst yer down here, if'n ya knows what's good fer ya.

How awesome that you all are forming MC meets! I honsetly don't know if I'll be able to make it on saturdays. I'll either work saturday and have sundays off, or vice versa. I won't find out either way until I arrive. If they give me a choice, I'll choose to have saturdays off so I can meet you all.
