Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade 2006

I emailed the company who produces it to see about tickets for taping, here's the reply I received.

This year there are no special tickets.
If you are an annual pass holder you can get into the park.
You also, can purchase a ticket to get into the park and participate as
Little or as much as you like.

I also asked about performers,

We do not have confirmation on performers.

There you have it, you have to pay to get in, but can participate as much or as little this year... (I guess they don’t have as much of a budget this year..)

I can't wait to see who they have performing this year... I would love to attend that taping. (and photograph it)

The tapings usually take place over the first weekend of December. I was there last year for several of the segments and will be back again this year

doh! Forgot some stuff I said elsewhere...

Most of the resort is booked out already... or just blacked out for stars and entourage... December 1 - 3 is the tapings this year... I'm sure about that.

i think they are going to push it for AP's sort of come and be part of the parade thing. I just wish I knew what was going to be filmed each day. as far as rooms. I called disney first and they had nothing, then i went online and the only rooms available were the contemporary and allstar. or a suite at the grand floridian for 1000 a night. they also had dvc rooms available but these were the upper end rooms as well.

WOW i'm in a bit of shock to hear that Disney is THAT busy just for the parade.

i had no idea it was that popular.

do all these people try to get into MK to see it - or do they just want to be there to say there were on the grounds for it but spend the day at AK or MGM.

actually... the moderates might be full of crew for the few days... (hair dressers and family of some D celebrities...)

the monorail resorts and AK lodge are probably booked for the celebrities and families...

or there is something going on that i don't know about besides the parade.

I don't know why anyone would waste time at the tapings. They are looooong and boring as hell.

and it rained, and it rained and it rained... the deluge. oh wait... sorry.. but thats why it's taped now sadly... un predictable winter weather.... at least now they can make it appear sunny.. (I was there and know they changed the sky from Grey to bright blue one year... look at the dark castle.. lol)

early morning (prior to park opening sometimes) to afternoon, shine, or makeshift shine....

looks like they will CGI blue Florida sky this year maybe.. rain might be coming towards the area this weekend.

ooo!! Ty IS a dream host in so many ways!!

But yes, this is exciting. But alas I won't be there. So it will be CMs who aren't working/work nights and APs for sure. Everyone else is there to be on vacation, not sit around for hours.

not nesessarily... you can sneak out between shoots.. so its really more like what 30 mins to an hour?

the rest are either american idol people or disney chanel people except mr bocelli. now that's a voice I would love to hear.
