Post The NEW Captain Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Resort

First off, if you've been to the Polynesian in the last eight or so months, Captain Cook's Snack Company, the quick service location at the Polynesian, was closed, and a temp. version was in use outside the main lobby. Now the new location has opened, and wow!!!

    First, they have Dole Whips.

    Second, they have Dole Whips.

Third, they have other good things to eat too!

And automated screens for taking orders. Very cool.

    Pictures are coming soon.

In other news, the MK Hess Station has also re-opened.

So Dr. Melon Head, do they have any new tasty treats?

Have they expanded their offerings? They never had much more than burgers, fries, chicken fingers and such ... plus a sandwich or salad or two in the cases.

Glad to hear about the Dole Whips, but you've never really had one until you've had one with your choice of toppings at the Dole Plantation on Oahu.

Ah, but I have had one at the Plantation. Hated the plantation train ride. Takes you nowhere and back. But the whips were good!

As far as new menu items, yes, most things are new! The new flat bread pizzas are very interesting and a pleasant departure from the old pizzas, though they are not worth the extra price IMHO.

We went to the Dole factory tour and all we got was juice.

Yay!!!! Dole Whips at the Poly!!!
This is exactly what they needed... when I first went there I remember telling my friend "You know what this place needs?... Dole Whips!" Preferably in a carved out Pineapple, but you can't have everything.
I'll have to go check this out because the last time I was there it wasn't open.
But this is quite the wonderful thing
