    Fantasmic Soundtrack

I was wondering if any constant WDW visitors know if the soundtrack recording of Fantasmic! is still on sale at Disney-MGM Studios/Downtown Disney? I will be visiting in Floridia and Fantasmic! is my favourite thing out of everything at WDW, but I cannot understand why I haven't purchased the CD before. Well anyway I am desperate for the recording, but in my Google searches I found a seller on eBay who said the CD was retired. Can anyone confirm/contradict his/her remarks? Please prove him/her wrong!

(MouseShoppe doesn't accept my British debit card and Laughing Place only stocks the Disneyland recording )

I bought the Fantasmic soundtrack last Saturday when I was at the studios so it definitely is still on sale (unless they stopped selling it in the past week, which is highly unlikely.)

I think eBay exists for those who may not get back to WDW and who still want the CDs... Of course, if anyone is advertising the disc as "OOP" should be shot, but hey...

I've seen "IllumiNations" go for anywhere from 30-50 bucks there. C'mon! It's for sale for 20 bucks at Epcot! Sheesh!

....and even $20 bucks is a lot for a single show cd. If they priced them at $14.99 tops, I think they would move off the shelf quicker. They have not learned anything from the WalMart mentality.

Actually, TDL, I regret paying my 20 bucks a year ago for the current "IllumiNations" CD. Yes, I'm very glad to have the show, "We Go On" and "Promise" on disc, but the Tapestry of Dreams parade, while great viewing it, is terrible to listen to on disc. It has everything to do with the overwraught children's narration overlayed on top of the "Tapestry of Nations" music.

I almost hate to say it, because of an earlier post of mine, but I found the "Millenium Celebration" album on eBay on sale by Disney Auctions for $10 a few months ago. This disc has the same "IllumiNations" tracks on it, plus the original instrumental "Tapestry of Nations" on it. This is the disc I spin when I want to hear the show.

Sorry 'bout the thread drift.... back to "Fantasmic!".... of which the Disneyland version of can be found complete on the 6-Disc "Musical History of Disneyland" box set.
