Talking First trip to WDW planned

We are finally going to wdw. Were going march 17th thru the 21st. Its a suprise for my youngest b-day. We can't wait. Were staying at pop centery. So any inside info for a first timer with boys aged 11 and 10?

The Pop Century is my favorite of the value resorts and youre going at a very good time of the year. As for a tip, they have a cup they sell at the food court that you can constantly refill, it may not save a lot of money, but it helps. My must see every time is Illuminations over at Epcot, best fireworks on property...

Wow! And it looks like you have THREE trips planned within the next year! As for boys that age - be sure to check out the Indy show and Lights Motors Action! at Studios along with Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. Make sure you see Kali River Rapids (raft ride) Everest at Animal Kingdom (get Fast Passes first and then make it the first ride of the day) and take some time to explore Epcot while they are still young, but old enough. Most of all, have fun!!

I'm not quite sure what else you're looking for, but feel free to ask if you have any specific dining questions.

You should definately try to reserve Breakfast at Chef Mickey's or Ohana at the Polynesian. Both very good.

They are there for 5 days. The cup should pay for itself easily in that time frame.

I find the cup a hassle, but thats just me. I like to get up, hit the food court for somethig quick, and then go. If I have the cup, I either have to make a seperate trip back to the room to drop it off, or I have to lug the thing around the parks with me. If you are one of the backpack people then its not a problem, but I like to not carry anything.

I went "cup free" last time at POFQ and liked it better, even though in the long run it most likely cost me $10 more in drink costs.
