I still have to wonder about the noise... if I am staying there, and I dont feel well, or if I young kids that go to bed at like 8pm, what happens when I am trying to sleep, or my kids are trying to sleep and they start the wishes fireworks show... Isnt it going to be crazy loud in that room?
Also, I wonder where the suite is on the castle... What kind of view you get from it...

Then I reccomend if you ever stay in Disneyland to choose a hotel at least 5 miles away. It gets VERY loud at any of the major hotels on and around the Disneyland resort when the fireworks go off. Some hotels, literaly, the fireworks go off right above them!I got these pics from Screamscape...
I think it looks pretty nice, but wont it be insanely noisely if you stay there? What if you go to bed early one day, and they do the fireworks show?
Looks very nice. Doubt I'd win a stay there and $3000 a night is WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of my budget (unless i get my next 500 paychecks tomorrow).
But sadly, they are stained glass windows and do not allow you to see outside. I suppose the reason for this is so they don't see backstage stuff that is brought out after park closing such as trucks driving around the park, as well as construction equipment brought out.

I think it's meant to be OTT. I love it, though I admit that it is my taste and I don't find it gaudy at all. I could never have my home decorated that way because it is too small and would look really pretentious. But in the castle? I think it's perfect. It looks like a castle. For royalty. Ostentatious and sumptuous is what it's supposed to be.
I also like that they stain glassed the windows, cause in reality, that rooms probably in the middle of the castle, where the walls are still inside the outter castle walls.
Hopefully one of us will win it for a night to give everyone on here a real tour....

I think it beats the heck out of the Mickey Penthouse. And as a kid...can you imagine? You get to go back to school and tell your friends that you've spent the night in the castle.
Too cool.
As much as people were mocking the idea when it was pitched, this actually looks like something worth winning.

ok, so i tried...
Now we know where the budgets are being spent. What about the Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain and some cosmetic needs around many areas of the park??? Why spend so much on something just a few people will ever enjoy??
