In March, my gf and I will take our very first trip to WDW. We are staying at the Polynesian and are SO excited we can hardly contain ourselves

We will be there for my birthday and I was looking for a nice place for dinner! Ohana maybe? I love steak too....best steakhouse @ WDW?? Or maybe I should plan a dinner w/ a view of the fireworks?? Any other fun ideas?? Any suggestions?? I know you do.....

You are in the Poly?!?!?!? And you ask about Dinner...

I have one answer to that...

    OHANA'S!!!!!!

Seriously, if you read this board alot, you know how much I love this place. The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the views are great. If you are lucky to get a dinner reservation around the same time the fireworks go off at the MK, the restaurant will lower the lights and sync up the audio with the fireworks show so you can enjoy it while you dine...

Also, since you are at the Poly, you need to make reservations for the Luau. It is a very nice show, and the food it great.

So there ya go... 2 amazing choices for dinner. Personally I would do both, but if you can only do one, go with Ohana's. You will not regret it.

I am going to be at WDW for my birthday in March, too.
I have Ohana booked as my birthday dinner, and after that we are going to the Pirate and Princess Party at MK! What an awesome day that will be!
Don't forget to get your birthday button from Guest Services at any one of the 4 parks. You never know what you might get while wearing that button.

Ohana is fine, but you may also want to visit the Yachtsman Steakhouse and the Yacht Club. It's real nice and yummy.
