    Old MGM map

Hey, all you in Florida country!

I'm in the Disneyland Resort Forum, seeing as I live close and have never been to your end of the American Disney parks spectrum. Feels like foreign territory to me, I guess...

I just need a quick favor from anyone who can help.

The most experience I have with a WDW park is the old New Kids on the block at MGM Studios special from early 1991. Does anyone have a map of MGM from that time? I would be most grateful!

To have or just to look at? I think I have one somewhere I could scan for you, would have to dig in my box.

That is awesome! I was in Superstar television, I said one line at the end of the David Letterman show.

Everytime I go I walk back to the Animation Building I remember that the queue for the Back Lot Tour used to start there, I miss walking through the Soundstages and seeing actual shows being filmed.

    BRING BACK MICKEY MOUSE CLUB!

the old symbol of MGM was the earfel tower (like i really spelled that right) since 2000 and the 100 years of magic, the sorcerer hat has been the new symbol. I never see the tower now when im at the park now but oh well

Wow I looked at it for awhile and couldn't see it till you said that. Not I can't believe I didn't notice it before. Is that really in the park or is it just for the map? I can't get a good aerial image of MGM on google.

You can see it on Google earth. The sorcerer hat does hide a lot of Mickey face. Wow when I first went to MGM the only thrill ride was Star Tours and the Muppet's had a stage show in that park.

I see it now, I couldn't get it from the computer at work.

Well this now gives me yet another reason to dislike the sorcerer's hat.

The original planter in front of the Chinese Theater was Mickey's nose, but sine they removed it to install that ugly hat, now the illusion might not be as nice as originally designed.

the david letterman part of the show was great. I waited in line just to watch it and then left after it was done. Love the map...it was printed the year I first went. Thanks for sharing.
