I voted for want because the hat at least was new while the wand ruined something that was perfect the way it was. Well, they both did - but you hopefully get my point.

I voted hat. At least you can get some shots of Spaceship Earth without, if you're careful. How many people can get a picture of Hollywood Boulevard, looking toward the Chinese Theater, and get a picture that captures the feel of the street and era without getting the hat in there?

Nice structure, wrong location. Plus, with a strong hurricane, the winds can hopefully tear the wand out much easier than the hat.

Hat, definitely. It completely destroys the theme of Hollywood Boulevard. I dislike the Wand as well, but it does not have as great an impact on Spaceship Earth as the Hat does to the Chinese Theater. Is there some way we fans could petition for the removal of these eyesores? They are both an insult to the imagineering that went into their respective parks.

Since 2004, 4 hurricanes have come through, and the wand is still there without any damage. The 3 hurricanes in the summer of 2004 were pretty strong and a lot of damage was sustained in the area, yet the wand did not have any at all. It is hurricane proof.

What it really needs is a wrecking ball.

The wand, hands down. But only as a precursor to tearing down the hat as well. One obscures the thematic and the other detracts from the thematic. If Disney can't use the theater as their MGM icon, then use the same one they did when the first opened. The Earful Tower. I'm pretty sure that's why it was built the way it was. Heck, use Tower of Terror if you must.

But if only one, then the wand by all means. We know we're in EPCOT for crying out loud. Did you think we'd get confused.

This is like the hypothetical question if you could only save one of your two kids... It's a heartwrenching decision, either way, cause you're still going to be left with one. The Disney World hat / wand question, I mean.

I think they should take the hat and the wand and send it over to Sea World so Shamu can jump over them during his show. No waste and it would be a fun thing to see if he could make it.

Remove "Leave a Legacy" at the entrance of Epcot.

Whoops, it was wand vs hat. Well, I despise "Leave a Legacy" much, much more than either the wand or the hat, but I despise the wand and the hat equally, but not as much as the legacy.

    Just MHO, YMMV

What makes it dumber is that Fantasia Mickey didn't even use a wand. Even the people who make the figures and the guys who animated the Mickey/Jafar battle in House of Villains knew that.

The only time I ever saw Fantasia Mickey use a wand was his extremely limited cameo in Totally Minnie (the Elton John number,) and I thought it was just an accident.

I couldn't agree more Leave a Legacy has to go! But if I had to choose between the other two it would be the hat hands down.
