do we know that he was the one the actually downloaded the pictures? what we know is that the pictures were found on his computer but we don't know if anyone, including one of his roomates, used the computer. I for one am going to wait and see how this all plays out. I seem to remember a story like this about a year ago with a CP and it turned out to be bogus.

Maybe it's just a tie-in since entertainment roles are global and he could've been in the parades or Castle shows?

I'll say that if this guy did in fact download these pics knowingly, he should be punished.

But just because you own a computer doesn't mean you're the only one who uses/abuses it.

It is a machine just like a car. If someone drives your car, without your OK, and kills someone should you be jailed?

It's also very scary to me how easy it is for people to send things that can carry information and/or pics you are unaware of.

Dateline NBC recently did a story of how a 16-year-old Arizona honors student almost had his life ruined and went to jail as a 'sexual predator' because things were downloaded onto his computer without his consent or knowledge.

Again, not saying this dude isn't a troubled perv, just saying no one should rush to judge in this day and age.

I hate the fact that they exploit the fact that he played the costumed Beast at a Disney park, even though the fact that he played the Beast and his secret stash of pictures have nothing to do with each other. Was he downloading the pictures at the park? No. Was he wearing his costume while looking at the pictures? No. Why can't the headline just say "Sicko has disgusting pictures and should be beaten with sticks." Yeah it's wrong, it sucks he had the pictures, i feel bad for the kids, but for the love of Zeus, if he didn't do anything to the kids at the parks, then keep his career and Disney out of it.

Yeah, see...I just wonder, I mean, none of us were there, so none of us really know, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty. His roommates found pictures on his computer and turned him in? How do we know he wasn't having disputes with his roommates and the pictures on the machine and the discs in the bag in the closet were not planted by the roommates? Stuff like this happens....he could have been set up. None of us know. I guess it will all come out at the trial, which none of us will be at.

Exactly. The paper sells what the peoples want. Even if it is irrational. I long for the day when a fry cook at McDonalds gets caught for the same thing, but it'll never happen.

But what worries me now is that I bet some people will get dollar signs flashed in their eyes and come forward and say something like "now that I think about it, the Beast DID touch me after all!" I bet it happens.
