    A Day Away

Hi Folks. My partner and I are headed to WDW March 31 - April 9. This will be our 4th trip. He is wanting to spend a day away from the parks. While I can't understand this request, I am willing to indulge it.

    Any suggestions?

I would probably like to keep it Disney related, but non-disney offerings would be a big help too.

You should definately check out Downtown Disney or possibly rent one of those little speedboats & play some mini golf. I mean, that's always fun.

If you have a rental car, you can easily take a ride along I-Drive and pick out a few things that appeal to you. May I suggest visiting the Festival Bay Mall.
If you do not have access to a car, you can always take the Lynx bus. If I am not mistaken the bus stop is in DTD of if not, it is just at the edge of the property toward the Crossroads area.

We rented a car and went to Cocoa Beach. It was a excellent break from theame park madness ( I mean that in a good way ) We loved the sounds of the waves and the warmth of the water. It was a fabulous day.

I would do the water recreation. The speedboats, parasailing, or you can even go horseback riding over at Fort Wilderness.

A round of golf and/or golf lessons? I think the Braves will still be in Spring Training at the sports complex. The boats are great. Parasailing is a blast. Or you can tour the resorts to take in atmosphere, architecture and agriculture. Plan a nice dinner, maybe at the Contemporary or Grand Floridian, followed by the Electric Water Pageant and fireworks.
Don't make me come in there!
