Question Disney Heresy

I was talking to a friend who had just returned from WDW. She was talking about how great Illuminations ROE was. This has been a show that I have never "got." People rave about this show, but I have never understood why. It's good, but was never amazing to me.

Are there any WDW attractions that other people are wild about that you just don't "get"?

Remember - play nice.

Erm...

Imagination?
Spaceship Earth - although I can see how it is monumental.
Indiana Jones Stunt Show.

I like everything else.

How dare you not like Illuminations!

Re: Disney Heresy

I don't "get" the 5th Dimension sequence of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Maybe I just got myself over hyped, but it was a big let down. I would even dare say I prefer DCA's.

In reality, Dole Whips are good, but not something I would write home about. Churros, I just don't like.

I also think Fantasmic is nice, but not something I would go out of my way to see.

Re: Disney Heresy

I didn't get Tower of Terror, either. The queue and preshow are excellent, but the ride itself suffers severe pacing issues. I also didn't get Illuminations, and honestly, I didn't really get Mission:SPACE either. It was fun, but I guess I was expecting a lot more.

Florida's Dole Whips are sadness. Go to California and try one, then you'll "get" Dole Whips.

Oh My!!! Well I am glad to see I have finally found a few other people who agree with me on these 2! I don't really get either of them. A churro is nothing more to me than a straight donut with cinnamon sugar on it. And Dole Whips...frozen pineapple juice...big deal.(let the produce hurling begin... )

I don't understand all the Nestle.

I mean I know why they sell it, because Michael Eisner and the Nestle people swapped demon blood and made a pact, but I don't understand why people continue to pay $2 for a coffee-ish beverage that tastes like the cup it comes in.

Re: Disney Heresy

Many people I overhear say that Rockin' Roller Coaster is way intense and the wildest coaster they've ever been on. I'm not much of a thrill rider, but I think the RNRC feels pretty tame.

BTW: Is the title of this thread supposed to be Disney Hearsay, because I don't think that heresy is the right word for this thread.

Hall Of Presidents maybe? It's ok, but I usually find it a good place to take a nap.

Festival of the Lion King. One of the things I will never understand.

And funnel cakes.

I think heresy is the right word. It is a discussion of attractions, shows, etc. that we don't like, but the vast majority of people do. Not liking Dole Whips would be a good one.

Yes that is true, and the WDW version is really pretty pathetic compared to the Disneyland show. I don't get Lights Motors Action, It is just so flashy and the car sounds and smells, well lets just say yeck!

Right on. All I've got to say is........ NO MORE NESCAFE! Please.

Also, I don't get the Pooh ride. I've never been fond of Pooh.
