    Deluxe Resorts

My family & I will be going to WDW sometime in either late July or early to mid August. The problem is, we have not been to WDW in over 2 years & have never stayed on property. My dad wants to stay preferably at a monorail resort, but would settle for any deluxe resort.

So if you could give me some information about the deluxe resorts such as the restaurants, rooms, transportation, etc., that would be very helpful.

You can get great information at the AllEarsNet.com website.

    Good luck!

I would avoid The Grand Floridian during that time frame because there is an annual convention held at the hotels convention center for interns of Pricewaterhouse Coopers. They generally take up over half the resort and have 3 waves of interns of over 1000 interns per wave. Sometimes the interns get rowdy. since these interns are all mostly college aged kids it tends to sometimes feel like a frat party.

I also highly recommend allearsnet.com! Used that site to pick the resort we stayed at last February and were really happy with our choice.

Here's a link to the resort section of the site...

I believe the three monorail resorts are Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Anyone here feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or missed something.

If you are wanting willing and able to stay at a monorail resort than I would go to the link below for the Poly. Once you look at that site and read tikiman's insight, you will not want to stay anywhere else. I know it made me really want to stay there but just can not afford it.
