Hotel Question

Ok... I'm finally doing my first "official" on property stay in May. I usually stay at the hotels on Hotel Plaza Dr, but I came across a pretty good deal for Port Orleans Riverside so I booked it. I'm only staying one night (Friday) and going to the parks the next day (Saturday).

So here's my question...

Would I be able to use my Port Orleans parking pass to bypass paying for parking at the parks even though I checked out of the hotel that morning? Or could I leave my car in the hotel lot and take the busses? Or will I just need to fork over another $10 to park like I usually do?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Hotel Question

you can leave the car in the lot and take the busses. we do it all the time. i would do that instead of park in the parking lot just cause i don't like TTC that much.

Re: Hotel Question

Your hotel parking pass will be valid until midnight on the date of your departure, so yes you can drive to a park parking lot and not pay the parking fee.

Re: Hotel Question

I would certainly park at the park. Your pass will work fine, and if you are going somewhere afterwards you don't need to bus back to the hotel. Going back to your hotel via bus for your car will take MUCH longer than going back to the TTC for your car.

Re: Hotel Question

Well I'm planning on going to Epcot (it's the "Characters in Bloom" weekend for part of the Flower & Garden Festival) and then later taking the monorail to MK or a boat to MGM.

Thanks everyone! Seems weird actually staying at an "official" Disney hotel after all these years of going to the parks (been a fairly regular visitor since 1978).

Have fun!! I know you will be. I am quite jealous of your Flower and Garden plans so make sure to have enough fun for me too!

Re: Hotel Question

I've never been to the F&G Festival but I have done the Food & Wine one a couple times. I just love Epcot (even though it's not as great as it used to be).
