WDW Today Idea

Just an Idea I had for merging the Top 7 and WDW Today channels to create an all-in-one source for information. Basically in the grey area, the video would play and the content in the white box would scroll information relating to that park. The white ticker would display information quickly for those on the go, and the two blue boxes would provide tips, phone numbers, weather info, etc. The background would be have the stars slowly pivoting around with the light changing (post if you know who I ripped that off from!).

Colors would change during the day, with four sets of schemes relating to the time of day. The breakfast edition is shown above.

The resort with 16:9 screens would get the whole thing, and everywhere else would be cropped down to 14:9 - not as drastic as 16:9 but you still get the time.

Additional screens would be installed at Bus, Ferry and Monorail stations to provide up to date information to guests.

It looks like a wonderful idea. I can just picture it with a slow moving background. It seems perfect for elegent background music with some beautiful pictures of the Resort going through as the video.

Love the look! I think the information channel is in need of a makeover in the near future anyway.
