The April WDW Countdown

I'm nearing the 30 day countdown to my 6 th WDW vacation!! I'm getting so excited I can barely contain myself. I just had to start this thread to let some excitement out!

April 21st – 33 more sleeps!!!


So who else needs to post their April countdown excitement??

Well, we are staying off property this time, a timeshare condo at Celebration Resort for FREE! So how could we not go!

7 day Parkhoppers bought - check!
ADR's made: Le Cellier, Ohana, Brown Derby, Liberty Tree Tavern, Garden Grill, Boma, Whispering Canyon and as many Earl of Sandwich runs that we can make - check!
Keys to the Kingdom tour ressies - check!
Suitcases out & packing lists ready - check!
Excitement control - NOT in check!
Did I mention I'm beyond excited!!

And you must be getting excited as well for your upcoming DL trip with your Grandson!!!

You have chosen some wonderful restaurants to dine at. I have been at most of them. I have never been to Liberty Tree Tavern, or the Earl of Sandwich.

I am very excited about my Disneyland trip.

I will miss not being able to go to WDW this year. I will have to plan a good long trip for next year.

Mind if I piggyback here, DizDee? I'm a mere 20 days away from being at WDW! But, for me, that's only 19 sleeps instead of the 20 it should be since my flight is at 6 am and I have a show the night before, so not lilkey to catch any ZZZs the night of the 7th! hehe


Ah, and unlike Barbaraann I've eaten at both LTT & EoS - LTT has the BEST dinner in the MK IMO - why? Because I LOVE their green beans! lol
EoS is a great place to get a high quality VERY filling sandwich!


As for me, myself, and my buddy Terry, we'll be dinign at l'Originale Alfredo di Roma (oh, how I'll miss it when it's gone!); Restaurant Marrakesh - I keep making reservations here then always cancel - NOT THIS TIME!!!; Maya Grill, where my DH & I very much enjoyed our meal last fall; California Grill (I'm not big on beef but LOVE that filet), Le Cellier (pretzel bread and beer cheese soup - mmmmmmmmmm!), and Wolfgang Puck.

Also will be doing a nice dinner with WDW1974 at Bistro de Paris - looking forward to some good food & company there. Now, if only I can figure out why it is we only hook up to eat.... first Napa Rose, now Bistro de Paris... lol!

Absolutely - piggy away!!! I love to hear about others plans!! Only 20 days more for you!! YEAH!!

You'll have to tell me about Restaurant Marrakesh after you try it. It's one of those places that we've both wanted to try and then don't. I'm not very food adventurous, so I have my doubts about it. I guess it's the "unknown".

Oh, and I sooo agree on the cheese soup -YUMMMMM! I always have to order that and a juicy steak, which I don't eat often, but I definitely spluge there!

I have never been to Liberty Tree Tavern, or the Earl of Sandwich.

LTT has awesome home cooked meals. The Colony Salad is delish - with apples, candied nuts, and a sweet shallot dressing, mmmmmmm!! And EofS, has the BEST sammies - such great taste combinations.

As for our other restaurant choices, we've eaten at all of them except Ohana, which will be a new experience for us, so I can't wait.

Well we will be there about the same time our vacation is the 20-28th!!!
So let just say I understand your excitement everyone is tired of hear about WDW, but I am not tired of talking about it!!! It will be me, my husband, older sister, her husband, her son, younger sister, and her boyfriend!! First time for all!!

CBR 8 nights - Check!
8 day Parkhoppers - check! (one day at Universal Studios)
ADR's made: Boma, Rose and Crown, 50's Prime Time, Coral Reef, California Grill, Biergarten, 1900 Park Fare, and Kona Cafe - check!

WOW!! Are you EVER in for a huge treat!!

And you have picked some great restaurants as well!! You know all of us won't get tired of hearing about our trips-it's a given!!

I hope you plan on going over to Islands of Adventure at US - don't miss the Spiderman ride!!

I never get tired of hearing about people's plans for their Disney vacations. I get excited each time that I visit either the "left" or the "right" coast. I have been known to be a compulsive planner, and an excessive chatterer too.

I can't complain too much though, I just got back on March 4th from a trip. Heh...

I would like to join in on our plans for April..

Hooking up the Suburban to the Popup and driving down from Maine with Wife and three kids.
Third time there, I finally won out on going to fort wilderness.
We stayed off park first time, all out at the boardwalk the second time and now roughing it at FW.
Our first night is on the 13th and leaving on the 21st. Planned for Mickeys backyard barbeque on the 16th and a character breakfast on the morning of the 18th for Donald's breakfastsaurus.
bought into tour guide mikes, but really havent set anything up yet. We kinda like to roll with the weather and TGM is really structured...

HI I an mew to posting and EVEN more excited to say my very first WDW vacation takes place in 3 days!!

3 DAYS PEOPLE!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
