    Exclamation Dead Seas?

What happened to the Living Seas? Most of the fish are in gone, and the ones still around are in awful shape. The water was dirty, the facility was in disrepair, and NOTHING was happening except for a half *** Nemo thing. Are they selling off the fish and going to something different here, or do they have a disease problem?

Yeah, my parents came up to visit and noticed it too. It's just run down and seems like they could be using the space better. That photo area seems like such a waste.

Aren't they rehabbing the viewing tanks or something?

Much like the attention this thread is getting, the Seas is suffering from a severe case of the 'I don't give a damn's ...

But the place is in pathetic shape, clam mobiles and cheap paint job nonwithstanding.

Those "Clam Mobiles" look really cheesy.

Is it really true that the Aquarium is that horrible of shape? I find this very distressing.

they have been relocating many of the exhibitions around the living seas. Most of everything was relocated for the time being while they were installing the projectors for the animated fish from finding nemo. You'll see some new upcoming changes over the next months, including the return of the "missing" fish.

I have to agree, it looks like one person hasn't really cleaned up the area, except for Nemo since the 1980's. Although what I found interesting is we watched this one fish swim the same route for over 10 minutes....makes you wonder.

What's your source for this? I've noticed the tank being in just awful condition on my last couple of trips. I've always attributed it to the construction, but I'd think the major parts of that should be done by now. Even so, why can't Disney keep a clean tank even with construction? Bad show!

The lack of 'life' in the tanks is glaringly obvious. Lets hope its temporary. The main tank is pitiful currently as an aquarium

I liked it before the Nemo-ized it....I also think that they took better care of it before the Disney-Pixar merger....I thought that Lving Seas was supposed to be about how we can preserve the seas and learn to live with them , hence the name. I guess that the tourists weren't thrilled about going to an aquarium (which are everywhere) while at Disney...especially when AK opened.

I think your criticisms are offbase. You're picking on things from the last year or so.. when the problems go way further back then that.
