What's Your Favorite ride at any one of WDW theme parks and why?
I've lived in Southern California for a time, and desperately miss Space Mountain (I always liked the WDW version more) and The Carousel of Progress (my "repeat attraction").
Can I cheat and name one from each park?
DAK: Expedition-Everest
Epcot: Imagination!
DMGMS: Tower of Terror
MK: Haunted Mansion (of course, not as of late...hopefully the update will be worthwhile)
DTD: DisneyQuest

The People Mover (Tomorrowland Transit Authority)
It's my favorite because it gives me exactly what I need in the middle of the day, a break.![]()
Thunder Mountain-It was my very first roller coaster. I was 23 when I went on it. Because of that ride I decided I was brave enough for Space Mountain. I found out that I liked that one two.
After years of holding everyone's stuff when they went on the coasters, it was nice to finally find out how fun they really are.
My favorite is the Carousel of Progress.
I love this ride and I really like that it's a historical milestone in Audio Animatronics from the Worlds Fair in NY.
A close second is Tomorrowland Transit Authority mainly for the same reason as SummerInFL!
this one is hard because i have a favorite for each park:
Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain
Epcot - Soarin' (10+ years ago --> Horizons)
Studios - Tower of Terror
Animal Kingdom - Expedition Everest
Ak - Dinosaur
Epcot - Spaceship Earth
MGM - Don't have a fav there
MK - TTA
Hey, wait a second! DL's Space Mountain is way much better. It is a smaller and so it is forced take a lot of sharp turns and banks a lot more to the left or right when doing so. It feels like you're dodging things at a really high rate of speed -- such a great feeling. WDW's doesn't do this so much. In fact the WDW version reminds me a lot of the Matterhorn in how it feels while riding it.
Ok, my two cents. Now back on topic...
I'm going to cheat like Roo.
MK: "it's a small world," Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
Ep-ity-cot: Spaceship Earth
D-MGM: Great Movie Ride, Coaster, Muppets
DAK: Everest, Safari (and Tarzan)
It really like Disneyland's version but it doesn't mean that WDW's is terrible. I was always used to Disneyland's and when I first rode WDW's in recent years I found it old, rough, with no music, and with visible track, etc. However, it is a really nice, classic attraction of the Magic Kingdom. I can only compare it in this way - it's WDW's Matterhorn because of the feel you get while and after riding it.
