    ok, got one!

DYK that MK is the only place in WDW (Downtown Disney included) where they will put your name on the back of your mouse ears for free

    ------edit------

I dont know if this is true for the DL version of HM (because ive only seen it with the Nightmare layover. I assume it is the same, though) but, in HM at WDW one of the singing busts (the 2nd from the left, i believe) is Walt Disney

The singing bust is not in fact Walt. I'm not sure, but the one I think people confuse Walt with is Turl Ravencroft, the main voice behind "Grim Grinning Ghosts," as well as the voice of Tony the Tiger and Fritz in the Enchanted Tiki Room.

DYK the Great Movie ride was originally supposed to have a tornado effect for the Wizard of Oz? However, due to circumstances beyond control (don't remember if it was budget, difficulty with technology, etc.), the effect was dropped and we wound up with a simple movie screen starring Mickey Mouse and Fantasia. It always does seem windier in that room though...maybe a throwback to the original idea.

DYK: Spaceship Earth is named after Buckminister Fuller's book "An Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth."

DYK: Buckminister Fuller also invented the concept of the Geodesic Sphere, which is the type of structure that the "Spaceship Earth" ride is housed in.

DYK that in the Tower of Terror, they originally took your picture twice? the first time was sometime in the beginning (i dont know exactly where) and then that picture was used in the eye of the 4th dimension room. it never worked right, so they stopped using it and now use a prepared picture. the second time is, obviously when you get to the top and the doors open. a few years ago they changed the cameras to take the picture during the drop.

*Be warned: This is for humor purposes only!*
DYK that every now and then, Godzilla comes out of World Showcase Lagoon and attacks the Japan pavilion?

DYK cap guns will deter a hippo from attacking?

DYK while riding Mission Space, if the cabin door pops open in mid-flight, the cabin depressurizes and sucks you out into the vacuum of space.

DYK that every night after Fantasmic at MGM Studios, the Tower of Terror deflates for the night.

Okay so i like to make up very baseless "fun facts." It's fun to do. I got a whole list of them! Say them out loud while waiting in line, see who listens in intently ;-)
