    New cast Member question

Hi, I have been told since I work for an ABC News station I am a cast member. Is that correct? I am planning trip to Disney and was aware of the cast member hotel rates. I called the cast member line and she instructed me on how to use the cast portal to book a room, but needed to get a pin from my HR person. Okay fine. So I ask my HR person and she has no clue what I am talking about. Is there a way to get the information my HR person needs or do we not quailfy as a cast member? I am so confused about this and was hoping this was the right place to maybe get some answers.

    Thanks everyone!

You qualify as a CM for discounted rates, but I've never heard of a PIN number that you would need.

    Re: New cast Member question

Thanks for the reply. I went to the hub to try and register but all I get is an error message. So it tells me to call the tech center. Its that something my HR person would handle?

    Thanks again!

Yes, but you should already have Hub access. Contact your HR person for help, or tech.

Reservations can be made both online via the Hub/Cast Portal or by calling the Cast line (for those without portal access or for group reservations.) I think that if you are calling they are looking for your PA # (location number) and your Perner (personal number) so that they can track your status as they book your stay. But as Dr. said, if you don't have Hub/Portal access you need to talk to HR to at least get those number is you don't know them for when you call.

Thanks for your reply's. I called the cast line and they said they could only book if it is 3 days out. So I will have my HR person get on it for me.

    Thanks again!
