My biggest fear is that we WILL lose the spirit of the original attraction...
Okay....correct me if I'm wrong here(but in a nice way please) but isn't SSE about the history and future of COMMUNICATION...inventing the future and the spirit of innovation?
What's that all about? But I do like the touch screen idea...I miss Horizons

Darn it, I need to wake up earlier, I'm hours behind on this one!
No surprises here, it's nice to get confirmation of everything I've heard.
On the wand, don't expect a huge announcement on that. Despite how we all feel, I think it's removal will bring mixed feelings from the general public. It has been there as long as lots of kids can remember and I always see lots of people taking pictures of it and all. So I suspect it will just start coming down one day, no "You asked for it, we're doing it!" announcement.
I love the network tunnel (official name) music and the planetarium music, unfortunately, it is the worst part of the attraction due to the fact that it's perforated by "Please remain seated, Your time machine vehicle is rotating backwards for your return to earth" over and over again. Heres to hoping that crap goes.
Along with the classic song?
And based on the announcement, sounds like the spirit of the attraction will remain, just with newer scenes. Maybe the end will actually feature....new AA's? Just don't make it all screens. I'm getting saddened to hear about screens replacing everything.
Too bad Siemens didn't sponsor the Carrousel of Progress too...

Maybe this is how they will bring back Dreamfinder. Have him narrate.
Or Rod Serling.
"The time is the future, on a night very much like the one you have just witnessed. This as you may recognize is the future, still in operation waiting for you. We invite you if you dare to step aboard because it tomorrow's future, you are the star. And this future takes you directly to....Tomorrow's Child.
(Eerie version of Tomorrow's Child begins to play)"
