What about David McCullough, the historian/author who narrated both Ken Burns' The Civil War and Seabiscuit. He has a great voice.

I'm not sure I'd want a recognizable actor's voice in there, although I really loved both Walter Cronkite and to a lesser extent Jeremy Irons. I'd like to hear what Don LaFontaine, the movie trailer guy, would do with it. He really has a wide variety of style, and I think he could pull off a moving, understated read that would bring chills.

I say crank up the speakers and put Fran Drescher in.
It'd be memorable if nothing else........

Since Disney is overlaying everything from Pixar these days, why not John Ratzenburger. After all his voice has been in every Pixar film so far.

Then again, knowing Jay Rasulo's ego these days he might just do it.

Patrick Stewart would be my choice if I was making it

If I had to choose a female it would be Oprah Winfrey or Diane Sawyer.
Diane Sawyer would be cheaper since she already is a Disney Cast Member

You absolutely right, Cullen and Welker together for the win. And this isn't some fanboy fantasy, i really think they'd do good. Though Welker could only do bit parts, not the narrator.

So you want Optimus Prime and Megatron? That would rule.
