    I hope I don't get ill

My vacation to Walt Disney World is just 3 days away. I have been planning this trip for a very long time. It has become our annual trip. My grandson, now 12, his mom and me. I am almost 60.

Every time, I get ready to go on vacation, I worry about one thing. Will my stomach behave itself. Why does the excitement of the trip make my stomach misbehave?

I absolutely love Disney. Love going to Disney World. Love staying at a different resort each time. Love the Magic Kingdom. Love trying new things.

Do not love, always having to pack the Immodium AD. For my stomach, just in case.

Sorry, if I have offended anyone. I just hope that I don't become ill. I don't like the airplane ride, all that much. I just keep remembering, that the mouse is on the other end.

My vacations, usually turn out almost perfect. Disney World is too great, to pass up, while worrying about becoming ill. I don't want to miss the fun. Maybe not too many more years for me, so I want to keep up the yearly tradition if I can. Other people have worse problems, than a bad stomach.

So in 3 days, when we arrive at Port Orleans Riverside, I will be the Granny, with the cute, blond, 12 year old grandson, headed down the river to Downtown Disney. We have a fishing excursion planned for our trip. Lunch at the Castle. I may finally make it to my Tea at the Grand Floridian. and yes of course.......I am still "looking for Jiminy".

Don't get so excited. It's just another vacation. Whoop-dee-do.
(This reverse-psychology thing probably isn't working.)

I don't think it's the excitement of the trip. I think it's the anxiety over your digestive system's issues.
Yeah, I'm an unlicensed psychotherapist. Take these pills. No, I don't know what they are. I found them in my glove compartment. Been there for years. Probably still good.
(I thought I typed that "un" in before. Now it's funny.)

Hmmm...maybe you should try bringing something along to occupy your mind while on the way to WDW. Like, a small photo album with pictures of last year's trip, a Disney trivia game, a Disney book, a portable CD player with Disney music etc. etc. That way, you'll have someting to take your mind off the current trip, yet still have things that keep you in the Disney spirit.
