Is "Poohs Playful Spot" history? (merged)

I went to do a search at the Disney web site for suitable attractions for toddlers and discovered that Poohs Playful Spot is no longer listed as an actual "attraction". It seems to have been renamed to The Fantasyland Play Area with the following description:
"Slide, jump and splash at this new 6300 square-foot play area designed especially for toddlers! Ride the slippery slides, cool down in refreshing water fountains and crawl through a wondrous tree house filled with tables and chairs and other delightful surprises. Parents take a break on a hand-carved tree bench while they watch their children having the time of their lives!
Have the Pooh references at the location been removed as well?
I don't remember hearing that this change was happening.

My dd will be so sad! She loved going in the tree house and is talking about it for our next trip. I doubt that they would take down the pooh stuff though... after all that would cost money! haha. maybe they just added in some other stuff as well?

From your mouth to God's ears. Sadly, the Pooh playground is still haunting us to this maybe and maybe forever.

Who knows? Maybe this is in an early response to the lawsuit over the Pooh family's character rights?

I am hoping we'll have a major lawsuit over the safety of the play ground, so that Disney see this litle area can actually be more expensive in lawyer fees than what it took to be built. All we need now is some kid to get majorly hurt in this area.

Don't look at me! It's for kids ages 2-5.

I wish it were history. Building that playground was one of the worst changes to the MK

I have some good memories over there... not sure I want it destroyed. Though I'd much rather have more attractions... the memories will still be there.

New memories of a Storybookland Canal Boat Ride would be nice...

hey, the playground is better than an unused and rotting sub lagoon, IMO. a new ride would have been awesome, but my dd loves that playground. so as a mom... I like it too.

I thought the playground was super pretty lit up at night. Other then that, I'd rather go swimming that old lagoon.

Hmmm... I didn't know there was THAT much privacy inside that tree trunk...

Not so sure if I agree with that. Actually I am positive that I don't.

Screw Pooh and his play spot. That area takes up 1/189 of an area that could be used for an amazing attraction. Why not extend a portion of a refreshed version of the Tomorrowland Speedway.

Er.. no.. I'd rather keep the poisonous fumes inside Tomorrowland.
