What do you consider crowded?

I went to WDW for a 10 days over the dreaded easter weekend and was expecting it to be horribly crowded to the point of ruining the trip. My last trip was between thanksgiving and christmas - dead time.

It was very crowded (I was told MK closed once for capacity, but did not verify, 3 hour line for Soarin', MGM shows filled up quickly), but I didn't think it was that bad (good planning helped).

Just curious, what do you consider crowded and do you have a "crowd limit" where you won't visit the parks?

If I can still manuever through the people only paying attention to where THEY are going, then I'm fine.

Most of the time if you pay attention to your surroundings, you can get around just fine.

When its wall to wall people, then that presents a problem for me.

I agree 100%! I used to consider it crowded when the wait times were long. Now I go several times a year so I never feel that I have to do everything... or even anything!

"wall to wall people" that gets really uncomfortable. That said, I rarely feel that way at WDW (DL on the other hand....)

I was there last december during a very busy day and they shut down the parking lots for a stretch of time, and I remember, it was VERY packed!!

If I can see where I want to go, and I just can't get there due to too many people in my way, that's crowded to me.

Well....if there's a wait at TTA...then it's definitely too crowded.

When you can't walk anywhere. Every path is stopped. That is crowded.

When it's crowded do you all stay at the theme parks?

I encountered a particularly crowded day once around Christmas and I went to WinterSummerland, later I rode the monorail (1 full loop) and got off at the Polynesian to walk the grounds, drink out of a pineapple and then watch the fireworks on the beach.

Maybe thats why the crowds don't bother me... I avoid them!

Our park capacity at MK is 80,000, and we have actually had to close and deny people admission over the winter holiday several times. We always have an attendance projection for each day, and based on my experience, id say anything over 45,000 is quite uncomfortablely crowded

Crowded to me is when MANY of the attractions have lines exceeding the actual line barriers.

I've read people talking all the time what the crowd levels are during specific days. Does anyone know where someone could find out that information, say I wanted to go today and I wanted to check that, is it public information? If so, where can I get it?

ITA! Same for a wait at Spaceship Earth or the old mexico ride.

such as space mountain - the weekend before the Daytona 500, the wait time for our ride was 320 minutes!! the line went out the door, past TTA, all the way back to the astro oribiter and doubled back all the way to space mtn twice.....
