I did this for my last trip and the maps are very cool, but having them customized didn't really make much of a difference in terms of their usefulness. I kept them as a souvenir and used the standard park map during my trip.

I got mine a few weeks ago. You can only order a set every six months. I LOVE them and I'm going to frame them and use a map given out at the park when we go in September. They're made of a thick kind of paper and come with your last name on the top. I'll take pictures of mine when I get home from work.

I tried to customize mine to have only-restaurants in MGM, only shops in MK, and so on. When they arrived, they had everything on them anyway. I didn't see any customization!!

I got a set that my wife is going to use for scrapbooking as momentos from our last trip to the world this past October...the presentation was pretty but I didn't pay much attention to them.

I received mine in the mail last week, I love that the maps have that piratey (is that a word?) feel to them. I would like to frame them but my only complaint is they print the maps on both sides so I have to choose between Magic Kingdom and Epcot or MGM and Animal Kingdom when I would want to frame all 4.

You can order a new set of maps every 6 months, so maybe you could frame some now and then order another set later. I have our first set framed, they were customized for son's first trip to Disney. and I just got my second set a few weeks ago that I am going to crop and use for scrapboook pages.

What we thought about doing was ordering another set and sending them to my parents house so I could frame them all at once.

After our trip we're going to order another set with all the places we saw/loved and hang those in our living room.

Ok, finally got around to taking some pictures. These maps are kinda big so it's hard to take pictures of the tiny details of them with an overall view, but here's a bit on what they look like:

Here's the envelope they come in (they also come with stickers to mark places you want to go that you didn't pick when you ordered them).:



There are 5 maps. One overall of Walt Disney World that has everything shown and one for each park. There are also some tips and stuff on one side of a map as well (like posted above, the maps are on both sides of the paper). They also come personalized with your last name as well.

Whoever orders them it says that person's last name. I ordered the ones for mine and my boyfriend's trip and they came with my last name on them. I don't know if you can call and have them change it or not? I thought it was really cool when i got them that'd they personalized them like that honestly!
